What Is Arthritis & Joint Pain?
Arthritis describes more than 100 conditions that affect joints, causing pain, stiffness, and swelling. The most common forms are osteoarthritis (wear-and-tear of cartilage) and rheumatoid arthritis (an autoimmune disease). Joint pain can also arise from injury, overuse, or chronic inflammation.
At LaserLab, we take a recovery-first approach: supporting circulation, calming inflammation, and helping tissues repair naturally. Our goal is to restore not only joint comfort, but also the energy and freedom that pain often takes away.
How We Help with Arthritis & Joint Pain
Living with arthritis or recurring joint pain can feel like moving through resistance every day. Stiffness in the morning, pain with activity, swelling at night—it all takes a toll on how you live and how you feel. Medications and injections may provide short-term relief, but many people want safer, long-term solutions that support their body’s natural ability to heal.
That’s where LaserLab’s integrated therapies come in.
1. Targeted Class IV Laser Therapy (Summus Laser)
We use Summus Class IV Laser technology, a form of photobiomodulation (PBM) that delivers red and near-infrared light to affected joints. PBM is thought to work by stimulating mitochondria, which increases cellular energy (ATP) production, modulates oxidative stress, and reduces inflammation. Clinical research supports PBM for arthritis pain, with studies showing reduced pain and improved function in osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis when applied appropriately.
2. Whole-Body Light Therapy (Systemic Benefits)
Arthritis is rarely just about one joint—it’s a whole-body condition. Our full-body red light therapy beds deliver light across the entire system, helping to reduce systemic inflammation, support circulation, and promote better sleep. This is especially valuable for people with multiple joints affected or autoimmune-related arthritis.
3. Compression Therapy (Circulation & Swelling)
Swelling and fluid buildup often worsen arthritis discomfort. Compression therapy uses gentle, rhythmic pressure to improve circulation and lymphatic flow, easing heaviness and reducing stiffness. Research supports compression as an effective way to improve mobility and reduce pain from joint conditions.
4. Complementary Care & Personalization
We don’t replace your existing arthritis care—we complement it. Our role is to give your body more tools for recovery. Each plan is personalized: some clients benefit most from targeted laser sessions, others from systemic light therapy and compression, and many from a combination.
What Clients Experience

- More comfortable range of motion
- Relief that supports walking, climbing stairs, or daily activity
- Better sleep and energy because discomfort isn’t constant

Over time, these changes add up to something powerful: freedom to enjoy daily life without always being held back by pain.
