Chronic &
Acute Pain

At LaserLab, we offer a different approach to resolve acute and chronic pain. Our treatment plans are designed to promote natural healing, so you can schedule your experience with confidence, knowing that you won’t be handed medication or be encouraged to undergo injections, surgeries, etc. Our treatments don’t result in adverse reactions or contain ingredients that could negatively affect your health.

Instead, our class IV laser device is used to promote pain relief, inflammation reduction, and durable tissue healing.  We’ll use the Summus Laser device in addition to other therapies such as compression therapy by Normatec, to target the root cause of your pain and help your body to relax, decrease inflammation, and reduce oxidative stress levels. Our chronic and acute pain treatment plans can help alleviate the pain resulting from various conditions, including:

  • Migraine headaches
  • Disc degeneration
  • Sciatic pain
  • Sprains and strains
  • Facet joint injury
  • Bursitis
  • Arthritis
  • Iliotibial band syndrome
  • Rotator cuff strains and tears
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Trigger finger
  • Tendonitis
  • Motor vehicle accident pain
  • Torticollis
  • Heel pain
  • Baker’s cyst
  • Post-knee replacement pain and healing
  • Sports injuries
  • Plantar fasciitis
  • ACL and PCL injuries
  • Meniscus and ligament injuries
  • Tooth and jaw pain
  • TMJ
  • Trigeminal neuralgia
  • A-C joint sprain
  • Ear infection
  • Acute and chronic pain

How Does THE SUMMUS LASER Treat the Root Cause of Chronic and Acute Pain?

Our chronic and acute pain treatment plans focus on reducing inflammation, accelerating tissue growth and repair, and promoting cellular health.  One of the primary benefits of this therapy is its ability to mitigate pain so as therapy begins you can get relief quickly.   The treatment plan will continue working to supercharge the cells in your body so durable healing can begin.   An important goal for your treatment plan is to create a long-lasting solution to your injury.   We don’t follow the “band-aid” approach.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Your treatment plan will be specifically tailored to your needs and the health condition you want to treat. The number of sessions required varies based on individual conditions. Patients suffering from severe forms of chronic pain like arthritis may require regular laser treatments to maintain optimal results long-term.

When Will I Experience Results?

Since patients come to LaserLab to treat both chronic and acute pain, results vary.  Some patients notice pain reduction after the first few treatments, and others require more treatments to get relief. When we meet with you during your initial consultation, we’ll review your symptoms and ask you some questions about your pain so we can design a treatment plan that’s right for you and give you details about what you can expect post-treatment.

Am I a Good Candidate?

If you’ve undergone traditional treatment options in an attempt to reduce your pain but have not fully healed or still deal with regular pain, you may potentially be a good candidate for laser therapy. Always consult your healthcare provider for the best advice.
